We are excited to announce that planning approval has been granted by Salford City Council for our highly anticipated Manchester Road development in Walkden. This project represents a key milestone in Alderley Group’s commitment to providing high-quality, affordable retirement living, and marks the next chapter in our ongoing mission to deliver innovative housing solutions across the North West.
A Vision for Affordable Retirement Living
The Manchester Road development will consist of 46 thoughtfully designed retirement apartments, offering comfortable, modern homes for the over-55s. These apartments are tailored to support independent living while fostering a strong sense of community, providing residents with the ideal blend of privacy and social spaces. This project is a significant step forward in addressing the rising demand for affordable senior housing in the region.
Our in-house construction division, Alderley Partnerships, will be taking the lead on the build, with work set to begin in October. The development is expected to contribute positively to the local area, creating a welcoming and sustainable environment for future residents.
