We are delighted to welcome Simon Rose to the Alderley Partnerships team as our new Construction Director. With 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Simon brings a wealth of expertise and leadership that will be instrumental in delivering our ambitious pipeline and supporting our growth in the social housing sector.
Simon’s career journey is marked by diverse roles and responsibilities across key sectors, including Healthcare, Education, Social Housing, and Conservation. Starting his career in Buying and Estimating, he quickly transitioned to Project Management for refurbishment projects. After a decade in the industry, Simon joined the Anwyl Group as a Quantity Surveyor and rapidly progressed to Commercial Manager, Senior Construction Manager, and eventually Construction Director.
During his time with Anwyl, Simon worked closely with housing associations to deliver social housing, general needs apartments, and large Extra Care projects, including a notable development of 102 apartments on the Wirral. His experience in managing client relationships, ensuring clear communication, and meeting client expectations makes him a valuable addition to Alderley Partnerships.
Simon shares his excitement about joining Alderley Group: “It’s an exciting time to be part of Alderley Group. Since my first conversation with Kevin Corish almost a year ago, he’s outlined an inspiring vision for steady and ambitious growth. I’m looking forward to supporting our team in delivering our current projects and strategically planning for future developments.”
Simon’s deep understanding of the construction process, from preconstruction to aftercare, aligns seamlessly with Alderley’s mission to deliver high-quality, community-focused developments. His role will be vital in helping us expand and refine our processes to meet the evolving demands of our clients and partners.
When he’s not leading construction projects, Simon is an avid sports fan, supporting Liverpool FC and enjoying cricket, golf, tennis, and Formula 1. He also enjoys spending time with his 5-year-old Cavapoochon, Harlo, and recently returned from a memorable trip to South Africa.
